When connecting a TV to a soundbar using the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) connection, the TV often defaults to PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) sound output mode. PCM is a format that is widely compatible with most soundbars.

However, when using streaming apps like Netflix or Hulu on your smart TV, the audio settings within the apps might need to be adjusted to ensure compatibility with the soundbar. Please turn off DOLBY/DTS functions, and choose STEREO output. If there is an incompatibility issue, please manually set the TV's audio/sound to PCM output mode.
